Scott comes to Real Estate after gaining valuable experience in the corporate world; while always keeping an eye on the Real Estate industry. Scott's professional career began at the Orvis Company where he gained a myriad of experience in various areas of the company, eventually culminating with the leadership of Orvis Adventures, the experiential & hospitality side of the Orvis business. With Orvis Adventures, he was fortunate to lead a large team whose sole purpose was creating world class experiences connecting people to the outdoors. In doing so, Scott was fortunate to meet and spend time with hospitality professionals and incredible outdoorsmen and women across the globe. The knowledge he gained from this service-oriented business provides an excellent complement to how he approaches real estate. Listen closely, take care of the customer, create the best possible experience. His biggest motivation with real estate is quite simple…be there to help people. Scott’s first real estate purchase out of college was to buy a duplex. Few years later he and his wife purchased their next property; a Victorian from the middle 1800’s. Almost 15 years ago they relocated to their current farm, which includes another 1800’s home, barns, and acreage. Most recently abutting acreage was added bringing them to 53 total acres and enlarging their sugarbush for maple production. Scott understands the Real Estate process from several perspectives and is ready to help others with their own real estate journey. In his personal life, Scott lives in Shaftsbury, Vermont with his family. They spend a lot of time on Nordic skis, playing and watching soccer, and appreciating where they call home. Scott looks forward to meeting new and existing customers and helping them connect with their next piece of real estate.
